Natura Health & Wellness welcomes Dr. Kendra Featherman to the clinic!

Naturopathic Care for Women and Children

Dr. Featherman focuses on pediatrics, postpartum mothers, and mental health.  Most of her patients are babies and children but she is also very passionate about supporting moms and helping everyone cultivate wellness when it comes to mental health.

For kids, she sees newborns through teens doing well child checks and acute visits for things like ear infections, rashes, and UTIs.  She also sees children with chronic conditions that need support from a naturopathic perspective.

Dr. Featherman’s Background

Between her bachelor’s degree and attending naturopathic medical school, Dr. Featherman spent time working at Watson Children’s Shelter here in Missoula.  This reinforced her love of working with children and established her passion for supporting parents to ensure the health of families as a whole.

As a doctor and mom, she finds it incredibly important to meet kids and parents where they are, finding treatment plans that are effective and reasonable for families to follow (if it tastes terrible then a 3-year-old just isn’t going to take it!).   Dr. Featherman is a native Missoulian who lives here with her husband and two young children.  Outside work you’ll find her watercolor painting, going on nature walks, cross-country skiing, gardening, and otherwise chasing her kiddos.

Dr. Featherman recently moved from another clinic in Missoula and is able to take any patients she has previously seen at Montana Whole Health as a “current patient” here at Natura.

**Please note, for now, we are not offering vaccines at Natura. However, Dr. Featherman is incredibly knowledgeable about the CDC schedule, and the Montana immunization requirements.  She helps parents navigate concerns around vaccines in a non-judgmental environment and can help create an alternate vaccine schedule if desired.
