Natura is looking for a new Clinic Retail Manager, aka Medicinary Manager!
The Medicinary Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Medicinary retail segment of our practice. This includes supplements, tinctures, homeopathic remedies, and additional materials which patients purchase and take home for their naturopathic health care.
The position is hourly and requires a 35–40-hour commitment Monday through Friday during normal business hours. The Medicinary Manager reports to the Practice Manager. The right person must be a self-starter, energetic, friendly, great at multi-tasking, and proficient in computer technology. This person must have a positive attitude, be proactive, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
– Effectively maintain inventory: enter stock into the system and price all medicinary items according to practice guidelines.
– Receive product shipments, unpack, log and stock in a timely manner, keeping the area tidy.
– Analyze the stock-on-hand and its turnover, to keep up with the anticipated needs of the clinic. Manage orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or an excessive surplus.
– Continue ongoing relationships with vendors to achieve the most cost-effective pricing for the clinic. Regularly conduct comparison pricing.
– Respond to Medicinary requests from patients received through phone, patient portal, walk-in, and doctors’ appointments.
– Learn the software applications used within the practice, and provide direction and resources to improve and integrate these applications
– Promote goodwill and teamwork in a busy practice.
– Uphold the positive culture of the medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, kind, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
– Comply with all relevant practice procedures, regulations and protocols and always maintain confidentiality with reference to patient records.
– Physical requirements:
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
– Utilize the medical office software to assist the front desk, which includes answering phones, check-in and check-out of patients, receiving payments for services, etc. These duties are required when the front desk needs additional temporary support.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
– Prior experience with inventory management, especially forecasting inventory needs.
– Proficient with computers and software

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
– Compensation is hourly $18-21 per hour to start.
